I am a fan of this series, as was confirmed when I read the second one and found it to be as incredible as the first. I am very, very excited for the third book releasing at the end of this month and to fans of fantasy and adventures stories in general, I cannot recommend this book enough! 

Included on the List: "My Top 5 Fav Indie Reads." As the series progresses, Sora learns more about herself and the powers in flux in her world . . . and develops a slow-building romance that has absolutely no love triangle in sight. What is there not to enjoy? 

The characters in these books are fascinating. Each has depth, a backstory and a culture of their own that merges into a fantastic world that was easy to get lost in. I would highly recommend these books for anyone who is a fan of action and adventure young adult books. 

Sora’s Quest happens to be the book that inspired this blog. Within The Cat’s Eye Chronicles, T.L. Shreffler, like Tolkien and Paolini, creates an entire world full of various landmasses with their own climates, multiple races each possessing unique traits, new religions and deities, and my personal favorite, an inclusion of magic. 

T.L. Shreffler is a talented writer, and I can only see her talents going from strength to strength. If you like a lot of mystery, magic, unanswered questions, deep characters, contradictory, internal emotions, and satisfying, yet heart wrenching, cliff hanger endings, this is definitely the book for you!

Ever since a good friend of mine introduced me to The Cat’s Eye Chronicles, I’ve struggled to find other books/series to match or even surpass its greatness. I LOVE how creative this series is and I love even more the amazing characters found in every single page.

I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend. This was a great fantasy ride. It had all the elements of a quest fantasy . . . Sora and all of the other characters felt so real to me.  They had fears and emotions I could relate to even though they were on this fantastical journey.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the relationships between the characters as they developed and grew, leaving me in tears several times! I do love a strong female character and Sora definitely delivers. She is young and unsure of herself to start but, she is determined to see her journey through to the end.

The Cat’s Eye series is riveting. The adventure is really underway now. And we got more answers in this book so now I have a better idea of the next few legs of the journey. I have to say that I hope this turns out to be a very long series, because I have not had nearly enough yet. 

6/5 Stars!!! If I could give this book more stars, I would. I can summarize it in one word: masterpiece. If you have read the rest of the series and followed along like I have, waiting patiently for this book then let me assure you, friend, the wait was WORTH it.

 Because Volcrian's Hunt by T. L. Shreffler has THE BEST slow-burn romance ever. The Cat’s Eye Chronicles is a fantastic series. You should definitely check it out!

A beloved adventure! I have read this adventure story dozens of times. The balance of the love story and development of the main character as a person and who she is meant to become has been perfect for me. I love reading each installment and can’t wait to read the next book.
